Non-Refundable Fees: All vendor fees are non-refundable, regardless of whether the vendor participates in the event or not. In the event of inclement weather, cancellation, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the vendor fee will not be refunded.
Event Participation: Vendors are expected to comply with all event guidelines and policies. Failure to adhere to the rules may result in the vendor being removed from the event without a refund.
Liability: The African American Cultural Fair & Parade and its organizers are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of property. Vendors are responsible for their own setup, equipment, and safety during the event.
Space Allocation: Vendor booth spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The event organizers reserve the right to make adjustments to booth placements as necessary.
Compliance: Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including but not limited to health and safety codes, business licensing requirements, and tax laws. Vendors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for their business operations.
Changes and Cancellations: The African American Cultural Fair & Parade reserves the right to make changes to event details, including but not limited to date, time, location, or cancellation of the event. Any such changes will be communicated to vendors in advance; however, no refunds will be issued.
Food Vendor Health Permit: Food vendors are required to obtain a Important Health & Safety Requirement
The health and safety of all attendees is paramount. Therefore, all food vendors, regardless of the type of food they plan to sell (pre-packaged, cooked, snacks, candy, water, soda, etc.), must obtain a City of Lancaster Health Permit. This is a mandatory requirement, and vendors without a valid permit will not be permitted to operate.
To ensure you have ample time to complete the necessary procedures, vendors are strongly advised to contact the Bureau of Health at (717) 291-4824 or email tbailey@cityoflancasterpa.gov by March 31, 2025. Reaching out early will allow you to navigate the application process smoothly and secure your permit well in advance of the fair.
