About the event

Theme: Legacy in Action

Join us as we celebrate the 12th Annual African American Parade, a powerful tribute to the people, culture, and history that continue to shape our community. This year’s theme, Legacy in Action, honors the elders, leaders, artists, educators, activists, and families whose work and sacrifices have paved the way—while uplifting the next generation carrying that legacy forward.

The parade will feature

community organizations, youth groups, marching bands, cultural performers, and local businesses, all coming together in a joyful display of unity, pride, and excellence. More than a celebration, this event is a living reminder that our legacy is not only remembered—it is lived, built, and passed on every day.

Bring your family, neighbors, and friends as we line the streets to celebrate resilience, achievement, and the continued impact of African American excellence in action.
